A minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying degree is required. However, a concession is provided for SC, ST, OBC, and PWD categories, who need to have secured at least 45% marks. Application Fee: The applicants are required to pay an Application Fee of ₹2000/- (Rupees two thousand only) for their submission to be considered. Actual Process, For How to apply (past application period) 

• Visit the official portal: Navigate to the official GUBEDCET 2025 application portal or the Gauhati University admissions site.
• Register or Login: New users need to register with their mobile number and date of birth. Existing users can log in with their application number.
• Fill the form: Complete the online application with your personal and educational details. Ensure the information matches your official documents.
• Upload documents: Upload scanned copies of your signature and passport-size photograph.
• Pay the fee: Proceed to the payment portal and pay the application fee of ₹2000₹ 20002000 plus bank charges using a debit card, credit card, or net banking.
• Submit and print: Submit the form and take a printout of the application for your records. 

Admit Card Download: Later, using the same login credentials, candidates will be able to download their admit cards or hall tickets for the entrance examination, which is scheduled for 20th July 2025.
