APSC Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
Nationality & Domicile: Candidates must be Indian citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must be permanent residents of Assam. As proof of domicile, candidates must upload a valid Permanent Resident Certificate or Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.
Educational Qualification: The educational qualification shall be a minimum of Class-VIII passed and a maximum of HSSLC (Class 12) or equivalent examination passed. As per Govt. Notification, candidates who possess educational qualifications higher than the maximum limit on the date of application shall not be eligible to apply. Candidates will have to submit a self-declaration as per ‘Annexure-I’ in this regard.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 40 years of age as of 1st January 2025. However, the upper age limit is relaxable by 2 years for Ex-Servicemen, 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST candidates, and 10 years for Persons with Disability (PwD). 👉 Click here to calculate your age

APSC Grade IV Selection Process
The selection will be made consisting of two phases:
Phase-I (Screening Test): The Commission will conduct a screening test using OMR-based Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) to shortlist candidates. The test will be for 100 marks with a duration of 2 hours. The standard of the questions will be of Class-VI, VII & VIII level. The syllabus is as follows:
