On 20th June 2025, the Director of Education, Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), Kokrajhar, released two official notifications regarding the recruitment of Assistant Teachers for Lower Primary (LP) Schools and Assistant Teachers, Science Teachers, and Hindi Teachers for Upper Primary (UP) Schools. Eligible candidates, who are permanent residents of Assam and have qualified in the Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET), Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), or BTC TET, can submit their applications online through the official website. BTC TET Eligibility Criteria
Assistant Teacher (LP): Candidates wishing to submit online applications for the post of Assistant Teacher (Lower Primary) must fulfil the following eligibility criteria.
Assistant Teacher (UP): Candidates wishing to submit online applications for the post of Assistant Teacher (Upper Primary) must fulfil the following eligibility criteria.

| Graduate from the UGC recognized University. |
| 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education. |

Other Details of Apply Online for BTR LP UP Teachers 2025
TET Qualification: The candidates who have passed ATET/ CTET/ BTC TET for LP/UP will be eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 40 years of age as of 1st January 2025. The upper age relaxation will be as per the government rules.
Preference: Candidates belonging to the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) will be given preference during the selection process.
