Assam Direct Recruitment Syllabus 2024: The Assam Direct Recruitment (ADRE) is one of the largest recruitment drives organized by the Government of Assam. ADRE, often referred to as ADRE 2.0, is set to be conducted in 2024 for more than 18 lakh candidates competing for 12,600 vacancies in Grade-III and Grade-IV positions. The Assam Direct Recruitment Syllabus for the examinations, which are scheduled to be held in September and October 2024, is issued on 15th July 2024.

ADRE Grade-III Syllabus

In this section, we have provided the complete syllabus for the Assam Direct Recruitment Examination for Grade-III. There are three categories under Grade-III, Driver (HSLC), Higher Secondary and Bachelor’s Degree. Therefore, the examinations will be conducted differently for each category.

Driver (HSLC)

Name of Exam: ADRE Driver (HSLC) Exam

Duration of Exam: 3 Hours (180 Minutes)

Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

No of Questions: 150 Questions

Full Marks: 150 Marks

Negative Marking: There will be negative markings for wrong answers. The negative marking for each wrong answer will be equivalent to 1/4th of the mark(s) allotted for that question. For example, the negative marking for a wrong answer to a question carrying 1 mark will be 0.25, and for a question carrying 2 marks, it will be 0.50.

Name of Subjects: Social Studies, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning and Mental Ability, General English, General Mathematics, Road Transport.

Higher Secondary (HSSLC)

Name of Exam: ADRE HSSLC Exam

Duration of Exam: 3 Hours (180 Minutes)

Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

No of Questions: 150 Questions

Full Marks: 150 Marks

Negative Marking: There will be negative markings for wrong answers. The negative marking for each wrong answer will be equivalent to 1/4th of the mark(s) allotted for that question. For example, the negative marking for a wrong answer to a question carrying 1 mark will be 0.25, and for a question carrying 2 marks, it will be 0.50.

Bachelor Degree (Graduation)

Name of Exam: ADRE Bachelor Degree Exam

Duration of Exam: 3 Hours (180 Minutes)

Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

No of Questions: 150 Questions

Full Marks: 175 Marks

Negative Marking: There will be negative markings for wrong answers. The negative marking for each wrong answer will be equivalent to 1/4th of the mark(s) allotted for that question. For example, the negative marking for a wrong answer to a question carrying 1 mark will be 0.25, and for a question carrying 2 marks, it will be 0.50.

Name of Subjects: Social Studies/ Social Science, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude, Reading Comprehension and Language, General Mathematics (Class X), General English.

ADRE Grade-IV Syllabus

In this section, we have provided the complete syllabus for the Assam Direct Recruitment Examination for Grade-IV. Similar to the ADRE Grade-III Examinations, the Grade-IV Examinations will also be conducted for two categories, Class VIII and Class X (Matriculation).

Name of Exam: ADRE Class VIII Exam

Duration of Exam: 2 Hours 30 Minutes

Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

No of Questions: 135 Questions

Full Marks: 135 Marks

Negative Marking: There shall be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

Class X (Matriculation)

Name of Exam: ADRE Class X (Matriculation) Exam

Duration of Exam: 2 Hours 30 Minutes

No of Questions: 135 Questions

Full Marks: 135 Marks

Negative Marking: There shall be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
